A Prayer Covering the Land From Storms and Earthquake “Peace, Be Still”

Father, in the name of Jesus,

We come before Your throne of grace, standing in the gap for this land You have entrusted to us. You are the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who commands the winds and the waves, and they obey You. Today, we lift our nation, our islands, our cities, and our communities before You, asking for Your mercy, protection, and intervention against calamities—storms, earthquakes, and every form of destruction.

Lord, You said in Your Word,

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land…” (Ezekiel 22:30)

Here I am, Lord. I stand in the gap for this land.

🕊️ Repentance for the Land

Father, we humble ourselves and confess the sins of this land—idolatry, rebellion, bloodshed, injustice, immorality, pride, and the rejection of Your Word and Your ways. We confess that many have turned away from You to their own paths. Forgive us, Lord.

Your Word says:

“If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Today, we humble ourselves. We seek Your face. We turn from our wicked ways.
Lord, have mercy on us.
Lord, forgive us.
Lord, heal our land.

🌊 Authority Over Storms

Lord Jesus, You rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace, be still,” and there was a great calm. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.

In the authority of the name of Jesus, we speak to the storms forming or approaching this land—natural, spiritual, or man-made—and we declare:

“Peace, be still, in Jesus’ name.”

We command destructive winds to weaken, storms to dissipate, and floodwaters to recede according to the will of God. Let the systems in the atmosphere align with Your mercy, not with destruction.

Father, place a hedge of protection over our shorelines, our homes, our churches, our schools, and our communities. Let angels be assigned to protect, shield, and guard this territory You have given us.

🌎 Protection from Earthquakes and Shaking

Lord, You are the One who “upholds all things by the word of Your power.” You see the fault lines, the foundations, and the things that are hidden from human eyes. We ask for Your mercy over this land concerning earthquakes and every form of shaking.

Father, in the name of Jesus:

• We ask You to stabilize the ground under us.
• Let the foundations of this land be upheld by Your mercy.
• Where judgment is deserved, remember mercy.

Let every plan of the enemy to use natural disasters to steal, kill, and destroy be canceled in Jesus’ name. Let every assignment of destruction, fear, and chaos be overturned by the blood of Jesus.

🛡️ The Blood Covering Over the Land

We plead the blood of Jesus over our land—from the mountains to the seas, from the coastlines to the inner regions. Let the blood of Jesus speak better things than judgment—let it speak mercy, protection, and redemption.

• We cover our homes, our families, our churches, and our leaders with the blood of Jesus.
• We cover the infrastructure, the roads, bridges, communication lines, and essential services with the blood of Jesus.
• We cover the atmosphere over this land with the blood of Jesus.

Let Psalm 91 be written over this land:

No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.

📣 Breaking Fear and Releasing Faith

Lord, we bind the spirit of fear that grips people during calamities. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

We declare over this land:

• Fear, you will not rule here.
• Panic, you will not rule here.
• Confusion, you will not rule here.

We release faith in God, trust in His promises, and supernatural peace that passes all understanding.

🔥 Raising Up Watchmen and Intercessors

Lord, raise up intercessors who will watch and pray over the land day and night. Let there be spiritual watchmen on the walls of this city, this region, this nation, who will not keep silent.

Teach us how to pray strategically.
Teach us how to war in the Spirit.
Teach us how to stand until we see Your intervention manifest in the natural.

🌱 Blessing and Restoration Over the Land

Father, we ask not only for protection, but for restoration and blessing:

• Bless the land with peace and stability.
• Bless the sea and sky with calmness and order.
• Bless the economy, agriculture, and livelihoods that depend on the weather and land.
• Bless families with safety, provision, and wisdom to prepare and respond.

Let this land be marked as a territory where the Lord is honored,
where Christ is exalted,
and where Your presence dwells.

✨ Declaration

In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare:

• This land belongs to the Lord.
• This territory is under the rule and covering of the Almighty.
• Storms and earthquakes will not have the final say—God will.
• The blood of Jesus covers this land.
• The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him in this region.
• Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Lord, we thank You in advance for protection, for miracles, for testimonies of Your delivering power. Let it be known that the Lord has drawn a line over this land and said, “This far you may come, but no farther.”

We seal this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ,
King of kings, Lord of lords,
Master of the wind and the waves.
