Kingdom Key to Success
Many believers long to be successful. They dream of fruitful ministries, prosperous lives, and the favor of God upon their work. Yet, too often, the Church borrows the world’s principles of success—
If you need healing, He is still the healer today. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
By Bishop Jerry Pena, God’s anointed servant
Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals, we come before Your throne of grace with confidence, knowing that You are touched by our infirmities and understand our pain (Hebrews 4:15-16). Lord Jesus, You bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-5). In this time of physical ailment, emotional heartache, and deep sorrow, we cry out to You as the Great Physician who has power over all sickness and disease. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and just as You healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and mended the brokenhearted during Your earthly ministry, we believe You still heal today. Touch our bodies with Your healing power, restore what has been damaged, and let Your life flow through every cell, every organ, and every system that needs Your divine intervention.
Father of all comfort, You promise to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). In our deepest anguish and overwhelming grief, we find refuge under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4). Though weeping may endure for a night, we hold fast to Your promise that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We cast all our anxiety upon You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7), trusting that You will turn our mourning into dancing and clothe us with gladness (Psalm 30:11). Even in the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for You are with us; Your rod and Your staff comfort us (Psalm 23:4).
We declare over our lives the promise that no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11), and we believe that You desire above all things that we prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2). Lord, we ask for strength when we are weak, for You have promised that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We will not be afraid of sudden terror or of the trouble that comes from the wicked, for the Lord will be our confidence and will keep our foot from being caught (Proverbs 3:25-26). With thanksgiving, we present our requests to You, knowing that Your peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray, believing that what we ask according to Your will, You hear us, and if You hear us, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You (1 John 5:14-15).
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
Scriptures to Hold On To:
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. – Mark 11:24

Many believers long to be successful. They dream of fruitful ministries, prosperous lives, and the favor of God upon their work. Yet, too often, the Church borrows the world’s principles of success—

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

We preach “do this and live” when the gospel declares “live, and you will do this.” We exhort congregations to try harder when Scripture reveals they need to trust deeper. The result? Exhausted believers, frustrated pastors, and churches that look more like rehabilitation centers than resurrection communities.
