A Prayer for Angelic Release and Protection
Lord, send angels to dismantle every plot of the enemy, expose every trap, and confuse every demonic assignment. Let angelic forces overthrow the works of darkness operating against my life.

A ministry mandated to equip, awaken, and align God’s people through an encounter with the fire of His Word.
By Bishop Jerry Peña, God’s anointed servant
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'” – Matthew 7:21-23
The Most Terrifying Words Ever Spoken
Imagine standing before Jesus on judgment day, confident in your salvation. You’ve been active in ministry. You’ve preached sermons. You’ve cast out demons. You’ve seen miracles. You’ve prophesied. You’ve used His name powerfully. Your resume is impressive. Your credentials are impeccable. Your ministry has been successful.
And then you hear the words that will haunt you for all eternity:
“I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.”
Not “I once knew you, but you fell away.” Not “You lost your salvation.” Not “You didn’t do enough.”
But the most devastating phrase in all of Scripture: “I NEVER knew you.”
Despite all your religious activity, Jesus says He never had a relationship with you. Ever.
The Critical Distinction: They Never Had Salvation to Lose
This passage isn’t about losing salvation – it’s about never having it despite impressive religious credentials. That’s even more sobering.
Notice what Jesus says:
The devastating reality: These weren’t people who started well and fell away. They were people who never had genuine salvation at all, despite looking like the most committed, anointed, successful ministers.
These are people who mastered Christianity as a technique, career, or performance without heart transformation:
Christian Professionals vs. Professional Christians:
Religious Practitioners:
Spiritual Technicians:
Ministry Entrepreneurs:
Notice what they confidently presented to Jesus:
“Did we not prophesy in Your name?”
“Did we not cast out demons in Your name?”
“Did we not perform many miracles in Your name?”
The shocking truth: You can do all these things without being saved.
“I NEVER knew you” – relationship was absent:
“You who practice lawlessness” – character was corrupt:
Seminary degrees that produce:
The deception:
Nothing wrong with education – unless it becomes your primary credential instead of genuine relationship with Christ and evidence of the Holy Spirit’s power in your life.
Ordination certificates that validate:
Ministry titles that demand respect:
Leadership roles that look impressive:
Platform achievements:
Ministry statistics:
The devastating question: If all this success disappeared tomorrow, would you still have Jesus? Or have you been building your kingdom in His name?
Judas: Ministry Without Salvation
Judas demonstrates how someone can:
Yet never be truly saved.
Jesus said of Judas: “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil” (John 6:70). Judas was in ministry but not in relationship. He was with Jesus but never knew Jesus.
Balaam: Prophetic Gift Without Holy Character
Balaam prophesied accurately but:
2 Peter 2:15-16 describes him as one who “loved the wages of wickedness” despite operating in prophetic gifting.
King Saul: Anointed Position Without Transformed Heart
Saul was anointed king and prophesied, but:
The Seven Sons of Sceva: Using Jesus’ Name Without Knowing Jesus
Acts 19:13-16 describes Jewish exorcists who:
The demon’s response reveals everything: “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”
They used Jesus’ name, but Jesus didn’t know them.
Wake up NOW.
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” – 2 Corinthians 13:5
“Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.” – 2 Peter 1:10
Lord, send angels to dismantle every plot of the enemy, expose every trap, and confuse every demonic assignment. Let angelic forces overthrow the works of darkness operating against my life.

In every generation, the people of God face a sobering choice: will we embrace the full truth of God’s Word, or settle for a watered-down version that pleases the ear but fails to transform the heart?

God has chosen to partner with His people in the execution of His purposes. He does not bypass us. He involves us. Prayer is the mechanism of involvement. When we pray, we align our will with His will, and that alignment releases heaven’s action.
